I think it is a travesty that Jordan Brown has already been convicted in the media of these murders. If you look at the headlines of articles pertaining to the murders you will see things like "Jordan Brown, 11 Killed Father's Pregnant Girlfriend..."
This is extremely irresponsible journalism. I would really like to see at least some members of the media cover this story from at least an objective standpoint. That's my challenge to them: write about Jordan Brown and discuss the facts of this case. The real facts and not the ones that have been bandied about by various news outlets when they have not been substantiated at all.
How do we get the media to discuss this case honestly? Why the bias?

I think the best way to do that is to actually send a letter to the journalist in charge of the article/reporting.

The bias likely comes from a mob or pack mentality. Many if informed or talked to would not be so quick to judge or may change their mind. It is a disgrace and horribly unprofessional for journalism to join in the mob, not to mention the bad example they set and the damage they cause as a result.
Yes do send letters, cds or make calls to responsible media - everywhere. Start a letter writing or email campaign or both - show sample letters and where to send them.
It seems as though there was a poor investigation and this boy was blamed without much thought, but it was convenient and quick. This is a stain on humanity, the justice system, the U.S. and all that is civil. It is a real shame he had to rot in jail for two years without a trial. He is not a terrorist. There are much worse out on bail or were out on bail, I'm sure.
