(AP) -- A judge has ordered an 11-year-old western Pennsylvania boy to stand trial in the shooting death of his father's pregnant fiancee. The decision came Tuesday at a preliminary hearing in New Castle for Jordan Brown. Prosecutors say Brown shot 26-year-old Kenzie Marie Houk in the back of the head Feb. 20 while she slept in their Wampum farmhouse about 50 miles north of Pittsburgh. Houk's unborn son also died. Brown was at the hearing, but did not speak. He is charged as an adult with homicide and could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted. Authorities believe the killing was premeditated. The boy's attorney has so far unsuccessfully argued to have the case moved to juvenile court.
