Link to information about Adam Harvey making threats against Kenzie: innocenceinstitute.org/uncategorized/a-question-of-responsibility/In support of Jordan’s innocence claim, his lawyers point to a Protection From Abuse (PFA) order filed with the Lawrence County Court of Common Pleas by Kenzie against an ex-boyfriend, Adam Harvey. Filed a year before her death, Kenzie wrote in the PFA that Harvey “threatened to take my whole family out….” <snip> That PFA, dated Feb. 4, 2008, indicated that Kenzie had been threatened repeatedly with harm and death by Harvey, the father of one of her children. Harvey resided in Harrisburg, NC, at the time the PFA was filed. Kenzie wrote that Harvey “…has left several messages threatening to hurt me and my family. I am in fear of him hurting me physically or my family. He has a drinking problem that is uncontrollable. He has threatened to hire someone to hurt me several times. I have been talking to Shenango Police and they have listened to the messages on my mother’s cell phone and suggested me to get a PFA.”

I want to know why Deborah Houk (Kenzie's mom) was sitting with Adam Harvey in court.

"Dr. O'Brien concluded that Jordan harbors resentment when he feels he has been treated unfairly, saying, for example, that said he had not seen his mother in more than five years because "she had spent her tax refund on fixing up the house instead of on him."
I just read the article, Melissa. Most anyone harbors resentment when they're wronged. If you keep going back to someone who wrongs you they call that insanity. This case though is a mother son relationship. I think Jordan has every right and that it is quite normal for him to feel resentment to his mother who can't be bothered to come visit him. It is nothing he wouldn't forgive if she started to visit.
"After the hearing, Mr. Elisco told reporters that an ex-boyfriend of Ms. Houk's was "overheard admitting he killed her to someone," at a friend's party. Mr. Elisco said that information had been turned over to state police, though Trooper Martin, who is leading the investigation, said he was unaware of it." Find that person and get him to sign an affidavit.
