"She'd give her last penny to everyone," said her mother, Debbie Houk. "She loved everyone and didn't have a mean bone in her body." www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/02/10/pennsylvania.young.murder.defendant/index.html Obviously she had one or two mean bones. If this exaggeration coming from Kenzie's mother is possible then it is conceivable that Janessa was counselled by someone while she was staying at her mother's family before she gave her third statement to the police in as many days, which in effect condemned Jordan.

I forgot to mention, on the video, check out the nice little line Adalynn speaks out on cue from her grandmama. Is it a reach to suspect Janessa's third statement to police was similarly counselled?

The Houks should be more interested in finding and capturing the perpetrator than jumping to conclusions, like the police did. A little detective work might be just what they need. Lets be honest and then with the police we may actually get to the bottom of this. I'm not absolutely sure what Adalynn said but I think, “Bye mommy, bye baby Christopher, I love you mommy, I love you baby Christopher.” Very sweet, but the body language of a child who is asked to say thank you, good bye or sorry for what I did. I don't want to rain down on any of the Houk family, God knows its difficult for them, but neither do I think Jordan is guilty and I believe that more effort should have been and should be brought to gathering evidence and finding suspects, not to a quick fix at any cost.
